Q. What technology is expected to make great strides in the upcoming years?

A. The reality is that gene splicing drugs, (i.e. animal and plant mixed), will come of age and cure many diseases. 

Q. What are some of the obstacles to technology development?

A. Ethics is always an obstacle.  Many people believe research in areas such as cloning and embryonics is immoral.  To this day, the field is being held back in many ways by government.

Q. Why is technology so Important?

A. Technology has the opportunity to cure disease, world hunger, and just about every imporant problem in the world.  As a society we want to become more civilized and have the opportunity to do things besides farm.

Q. How Does Math Relate to Technology?

A. Since philosophy is the real inventor of ideas, you might say mathematics is the essence of putting new ideas into reality.  The reality is that all science careers have a strong mathematical basis.  You can expect that any nation strong in mathematics will also be strong in the sciences.
